Dr. Frank Mols and Prof. Jolanda Jetten kindly accepted our invitation to present their new book The Wealth Paradox (published by Cambridge University Press) in an open seminar. In the book, they bring together and integrate work from across the social sciences (e.g. social psychology, sociology, history and political science) to examine the wealth paradox at the micro, meso and macro levels. They explore the counterintuitive idea that wealth and prosperity does not always coincide with increased tolerance towards outgroups.
